I thought to let you know that every Household in Croatia has to pay each month a fee of 73 kuna (that is around $20 Australian Dollars) if they have a Television and Radio set in their House.

Watching Television and listening to a Radio is not FREE here in Croatia thanks to the HRT (Hrvatska Radio Televizija).

By the way the HRT ( Hrvatska Radio Televizija) Channels are full of ads like the Free to Air Television Channels in Australia the only difference is that you have to pay a monthly fee for the FREE to Air Television Channels in Croatia and in Australia you do not.

How can Households in Croatia afford to pay the monthly Television and Radio fee when around 600 people a day lose their jobs in Croatia and the average salary in Croatia is around $1420 Australian Dollars a month which is around 5000 kuna..

The Croatian Government has to stop this kind of money grabing activity.
